The role of Guest Speaker Organizer for Rescued Glass in Wells allowed me to network with professionals and specialists in the fields of upcycling & sustainability, as well as plan guest speaker sessions to improve the club's knowledge and encourage it to make a good effect. This entailed finding specialists with knowledge in upcycling glass and sustainability methods, contacting them, and organising their attendance at the workshops.

Japanese Club; Teaching Japanese To Teachers
1: Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth
3: Demonstrate how to initiate and plan a CAS experience
5: Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively
I got the opportunity to teach Japanese to teachers at their school as a member of the Japanese Club in 2023. This experience broadened my knowledge of Japanese and provided me with great teaching abilities. Lesson planning and organization necessitated careful consideration of the instructors' requirements and learning styles, which allowed me to adjust and tailor their teaching approaches properly. Furthermore, I had experienced their passion and drive to learning, which helped to foster a friendly and collaborative atmosphere. In addition to improving my own Japanese language abilities, I learned the value of teaching via this attempt. It was a wonderfully rewarding experience that allowed me to contribute to the mission of the club while also encouraging cross-cultural understanding and respect.
1: Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth - Developed my Japanese literacy level further
to be able to teach efficiently, as well as fixed my Japanese Grammar to a certain extent.
3: Demonstrate how to initiate and plan a CAS experience - Slide creation in preparation of the teaching along with the seniors.
5: Demonstrate the skills and recognise the benefits of working collaboratively - The slide creation and the teaching went smoothly thanks to the seniors being very effective communicators in addition to fluent in japanese.
